Sinhayana – meaning “the one who rides the lion” – reflects what we stand for: courage, strength and transformation.
We work with children and youth from slum communities, migrant families, and disadvantaged households who often grow up facing poverty, trauma, and exclusion. Through free, high-quality training in dance, theatre, music, painting, yoga, and more, we help them build emotional resilience and open pathways to brighter, more dignified futures.
In communities where children grow up without creative outlets, the risk of addiction, violence, and hopelessness rises sharply, We step in with transformative alternatives — programs rooted in empathy, social justice, cultural preservation, and trauma-informed care.
Since our founding in 2016 by Vinay Sharma, Sinhayana Foundation has grown into a movement of courage, creativity, and community. Our milestones so far:
Active in Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad
A nation where no child’s potential is lost to poverty – where their future is shaped by creativity, courage, and compassion, not their circumstances.
To transform lives through arts-based programs that build emotional intelligence, promote social inclusion, and create opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
